egypt the cradle, america the grave

there seems to be this shift in people

from thinking that they can change things

to thinking things won't be that bad as they are

or even if they are that bad, they can tolerate them and survive anyway

so they'll just suffer quietly

them wasting life and life wasting them

it's a slow shift, like a stone in a river shrinking

i can feel myself becoming smaller,

getting torn away, but i think i've managed

to stay sort of intact so far

Moi, j'avais jamais rien dit. Rien
